A seller credit or a lower price?
Estimates for a primary residence with a 30-year fixed loan, not a loan offer. A temporary buydown is paid up front, usually by the seller, builder or lender, and you qualify at the full note rate. If you sell or refinance early, unused buydown money is usually applied to your loan; ask your lender how theirs works. Conventional PMI is an estimate that varies by insurer and credit; FHA, VA and USDA fees are the standard published amounts. VA loans are for eligible veterans and service members; USDA loans are for eligible rural areas and income limits, and much of Maine qualifies. Closing costs are not included.
